Troubleshooting
-
If Windows shows
This installation package is not supported by this processor type, you downloaded the wrong installer. Check your system type and download the matching installer. - If you cannot see the OpenVPN icon, click the arrow at the right end of the taskbar to show hidden icons. If the icon is not there either, open OpenVPN GUI from the Start menu.
- If you changed your IIIT password, right-click the OpenVPN icon, choose Clear Saved Passwords, and connect again.
- The VPN does not connect on IIIT WiFi or LAN. Connect through another network, such as your mobile hotspot.
- If your password is rejected, check that the user name is your full IIIT email address.
- If the VPN worked before and has stopped, download the configuration again. Delete the old VPN connection and import the new file.
